Emotional Freedom Therapy
This is a specific technique, in which I would work with you on a one to one basis.
During the session, I guide you through a simple tapping routine on key energy flow points on your head, face and hands. During the sequence, I ask you questions, aimed at helping you to let go of painful emotions.
The method is based on the principle that the cause of all negative emotions (sadness, anger, frustration, anxiety, etc) is a disruption in the body’s energy system.
A calming process
EFT offers a unique process that calms you so that you can think more clearly and work successfully through any challenges or problems that you might have. It helps you to re-frame any thoughts or decisions you may have reached previously in your life, when you have experienced difficult times or challenges.
The process is actually very much like peeling an onion – gradually peeling back each layer to get to the ‘core’ or ‘root’ problem. The amazing benefit is that by going through this process you can identify what has caused you to feel or act in the way you do and by acknowledging this problem and surfacing the emotion you can let it go!
I have worked with a number of clients who have been amazed by the power of EFT and what it has achieved for them – often freeing them up from issues and concerns which have negatively impacted their lives for many years! Hence the perfectly fitting name for this treatment – it does what it says – it sets you free!
